Beast is back!!

God I missed you, Beast!
So I'm an unapologetic Gem Larkspur fan girl. Fantasy Forfeit was my favorite new-author read of 2014, so to say that my expectations for the sequel were high, perhaps verging on Beast-like proportions, is an understatement. As much as I tried to temper myself with the usual warnings (beware the curse of the sophomore slump, glitterkink BDSM billionaire romances are soooo 2012, etc.), I just couldn't help salivating in delight when an ARC of Fantasy Reclaimed landed in my inbox. After the first chapter, I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief: Gem didn't let you down, folks. Sapphire and Beast are just as molten hot together as they were before. More so, actually, thanks to the cruel way they were separated in the last book. But book two starts right in the thick of things with their return to the Island, and we learn so much more about both characters. And squeeeee!! they finally move their playtime OFF the island this time, too!
I couldn't help falling in love with Beast all over again. He is certainly a fine growly specimen of alpha gravitas. But more importantly, Sapphire remains one of the most believable portrayals of a female entrepreneur in contemporary romance (and in genre fiction in general). More often that not, I only tolerate the heroines of romance as a means to an end: their love interests. But Sapphire is one of the few heroines who can carry a whole novel on her own merits: she's smart, business savvy, and independent, yet she owns her sexuality and her need for submission in a way that is so refreshingly honest and vulnerable that I can't help but love her, too. The ever more inventive kink in this series is just the cherry on top of an awesome read.
If you haven't read the previous book, go pick it up right now. You can't read Fantasy Reclaimed without it. If you've already devoured book one, then you're in for a treat!

An amazing sequel to an amazing book!!! Very creative, sexy and addictive!!!!

Beast and Sapphire are back!!!! And what a return!!!! Very well written and amazingly creative, sizzling red hot with wonderful and sexy characters, completely addictive and thrilling with a good plot and lots of twists, this sequel is a success!!! It definitely makes this series a must read!!!! Please, read the breathtaking book one (Fantasy Forfeit) before reading Fantasy Reclaimed, as it starts exactly where the first one finishes!!! Incredible and fantastic, these books will blow you away!!!! You will fall in love with Sapphire and Beast, like i did a long time ago, but as the story continues you will see this love grow deeper and stronger!!! I am not a fan of BDSM per se! But Gem Larkspur is such a talented writer that she makes it magical!! Sweeter, with suspense and a little detective story twist, Fantasy Reclaimed was surprising and refreshing!! I honestly loved every second of that book!!! I enjoyed it so much that I never wanted the story to end!!! I really was hoping to see a little more of their day to day life, maybe a commitment like a wedding or a baby!!! But hey it's me, i am a sappy romantic... So with all my respect, i put my TWO THUMBS UP HIGH IN THE AIR WITH BLAZING LIGHTERS ON!!!!!

Wonderful, funny, sexy read from an absolutely terrific writer. This is a series that will turn you on, make you laugh, yell, cry, and want more, more, more! I would highly recommend this book.
Fantasy Reclaimed continues where Fantasy Forfeit left off. I takes the reader further into the relationship between Sapphire and Beast. Their sexual explorations and deepening love is a wonderful journey for the characters and the reader. I love the strength of Sapphire. Once again, Ms. Larkspur gives us a strong, brave, and adventurous woman. Love that. Of Beast, what can I say other than BEAST! He is a grade A prime erotic hero.
Of Fantasy Forfeit, I wrote: The Story of O meets Fantasy Island meets Pretty Woman. This book is a fantastic, hilarious, kinky ROMP! I loved it. The writing and characterization are top notch, the pacing is perfect, the dialogue is crisp, and the sex Is hotter than the hinges on the gates of hell. Sapphire is downright lovable, and Beast is delicious. If Kitty Thomas and Pepper Winters are the mistresses of dark erotica, Gem Larkspur is the mistress of light and delivers thrilling, arousing, and masterfully executed erotica. A rare find indeed. I'm a lifelong fan. Brava.
